Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week

Michael Pena, Vaughn

Junior • Guard • Dumont, N.J.

Pena poured in 23 points and pulled down five rebounds to help the Warriors to a come-from-behind victory against SUNY-ESF to remain undefeated in league play. The junior guard went 8-for-12 from the field and shot 4-of-8 from distance.

Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week

Ryan Caldwell, SUNY-ESF

Junior • Guard/Forward • Liverpool, N.Y.

Caldwell had a solid all-around week scoring 20-plus points in two games for the Mighty Oaks averaging 22.5 points and 11.0 rebounds. In a win over King's, the junior had 20 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists.

Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week

Mandrell Jefferies, Berkeley

Freshman • Forward • Brooklyn, N.Y.

Jefferies came off the bench, played 26 minutes, and connected on 9-of-12 attempts from the floor to finish with a game-high 21 points to lead Berkeley past Pratt. The freshman forward also snatched four caroms and recorded two assists. 

Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week

Rochelle Whitton, Albany Pharmacy

Senior • Center • Hermon, N.Y.

Whitton averaged 15.5 and 7.5 steals in two wins for Albany Pharmacy. In win over New Rochelle to clinch the regular season title, the senior had a near double-double with 15 points and nine steals, also pulling down four rebounds, playing all 40 minutes.

Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week

Jamie Brown, Davis

Sophomore • Guard • Oakvale, W. Va.

Brown averaged 17.0 points and shot 44 percent from the floor in a 2-0 week in league play for Davis. During a win over Pratt, she tallied 22 points with four three pointers and three steals.

Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week

Jessica Morgan, Davis

Freshman ? Center ? Binghamton, N.Y.

Morgan posted back-to-back double-doubles leading Davis to a pair of league wins. The freshman posted 10 points and 17 rebounds in just 23 minutes against King's and followed it up with 11 points and 10 rebounds at Pratt. Morgan shot 47 percent from the floor and also totaled six steals on the week.

Honor Roll

James Brooks, King's • Men's Basketball

Brooks crossed the 20-point scoring mark in two games this week posting 22 points and 10 rebounds vs. Davis and 23 points against SUNY-ESF.

Kolby Brown, Davis • Men's Basketball

Brown hit the game-winning jump shot at the buzzer lifting Davis past Pratt. He totaled 15 points, seven rebounds and four steals in two games.

Amissa Epperson, Pratt • Women's Basketball

Epperson averaged 14.5 points on 13-for-26 shooting on the week and grabbed 14.5 rebounds over a two-game stretch for Pratt. She scored a career-high 21 in a win over Sarah Lawrence.

Brandon Votra, Albany Pharmacy • Men's Basketball

Votra averaged 17.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in a two-game week highlighted by a 24-point, 12-rebound effort vs. SUNY Delhi.

Najee Woods, Culinary • Men's Basketball

Woods had 16 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort against Dutchess Community College.
